From the mouths of babes (fifth grade babes)

Here are some of the comments I heard about my hair on the kids' first day back:

• Did you dye your hair?!?
• Your hair is the color of a penny!
• Did you have to put foil on your eyebrows when you dyed them? (For the record, my eyebrows were not dyed.)
• Your hair used to be yellow....and now it is orange.
• Whoa.
• Don't take this the wrong way, because you looked okay as a blonde, but you look really good with dark hair.
