Homemade gifts have become somewhat of a tradition for my family. This year, I was so excited to see what my dad had made for me. Even people outside of our family kept asking me if I had opened up his gift yet because they thought it was so cool. It was. These are candlesticks made from spindles like the ones we used to have on our porch. And, yes, that is a crackle finish. Very impressive.
