Leaving a Legacy

My parents are on a quest to become techno-savvy. Even though they may be closer to their last day of teaching than their first, they certainly aren't coasting into retirement. I got to play the part of consultant this morning as they experimented with PowerPoint templates and SMART Notebook capabilities for their school's newly purchased SMART Boards. My mom learned a few new shortcuts, including the copy (ctrlC) and paste (ctrlV) functions. She quickly got the hang of it - in fact, she was probably too good. After pressing and holding CTRL and V at the same time for about 2 minutes, she pasted more than SEVENTYyellow boxes on her document! I'm so proud of my parents for trying something new - that's the kind of teacher I want to be.
