#30 - Feed a giraffe.

This one is a recent addition to my list. If I had known that it was possible to feed a giraffe, it would have been on my list much earlier. When we checked into The Broadmoor on our honeymoon, the bell boy was telling us that the founder of the hotel had been a collector of exotic animals - so much so, that The Broadmoor opened its own zoo. He went on to tell us that the zoo had one of the largest collections of giraffes in the states and that visitors were allowed to feed the giraffe herd.

I looked at Chris right away and said, "We need to do that. That just went on my 30 by 30 list." He agreed. So Friday morning, we ventured up the mountain to see the giraffes. It was a perfect way to complete my 30 by 30!
