Old Friends

On the way home from the cities tonight, I was thinking about Michelle and how glad I am that God has seen fit to sustain our friendship through the years and miles between us. Here are a few of the reasons I like her so much:

• Her love for God is obvious - even a stranger couldn't miss it.
• She is bluntly honest about everything.
• Our friendship feels as comfortable and familiar as a friend I see every day, instead of once every few months.
• The way her family loves each other amazes me.
• She has a great laugh.
